Science is important because it influences most aspects of everyday life, including food energy, medicine, transportation, leisure activities and more. Science improves human life at every level, form individual comfort to global issues.
The Department has good infrastructure with a spacious working area, consisting of Laboratories, HOD's Cabin, Staff Rooms, Computing facility.
The department has well qualified, dedicated and self motivated faculty members and the supporting staff.
The staff members have very good interaction with students and involve themselves in the welfare of the students. This ensures good academic performance of the students. The Department has been getting excellent results both in theory and practical examinations.
Goal
To impart quality education in basic science and to get consistent excellent results in examination. To expand the Basic Science support to all technical and medical branches.
